It is all thanks to smartphones and mobile device applications, better known as apps.
Diet and nutrition apps include but are not limited to those that determine and track calorie and nutrient intake, map where you can find foods that fit your lifestyle (vegan, gluten-free, etc.) and provide dietary information, recipes and tips.
Before I go further, I must admit that I am not an avid smartphone user and am way behind most of my acquaintances, family and friends when it comes to utilizing apps. However, I’m intrigued with the amount of diet and nutrition information that we have available at our fingertips.
